The property is located within the town of Welshpool, adjacent to the Montgomery Canal with its walkways and access to Powysland museum. A good selection of pubs and restaurants are but a short stroll away.

Powis Castle, with its world famous gardens, is a ten minute walk to the gates.

Offa’s Dyke and Llanfair Light Railway are close by.

In addition many other outdoor pursuits can be found in and around the area, in particular Lake Vyrnwy and Snowdonia National Park.
